Process of Draft System:

  • Notification will be sent to Touch NZ
  • Touch NZ will process with province, and ensure player meets the criteria
  • Touch NZ will approve or decline
  • For teams that do not have a team already, names will be added to Draft player list on website
  • Provinces that wish to pick up draft players of list will be given player’s details.
  • Once all processes have been completed, player and province are required to inform Touch NZ.

*Drafts will be passed onto the Eligibility commissioner on each Wednesday. Please allow 5 working days for confirmation
