Tamaki Touched Empowerment Project

Tamaki Touched – a bit about it

Tamaki Touched has been established by Touch NZ, NZ Police and other local community groups to create healthy and fun participation opportunities that develop positive social ongoing effects for communities and families through (but not limited to) the vehicle of Touch in the Glen Innes and East Tamaki regions.

The aim is to create sustainable participation opportunities cultivating positive holistic rewards whilst developing legacies and support networks for communities and families to positively grow.

The initiative in Glen Innes is the pilot project with the aim of being duplicated in other vulnerable communities in New Zealand.

For more information on this initiative please contact sandi@touchnz.co.nz or click here view the flyer or here to register a team.

The initial project is a 6 week Touch competition to be held at Bill Mckinlay Park, commencing at 5pm 8 April, 2016. The competition is free to enter.
