Under 16 Development Tour

The Under 16 Girls and Boys teams will attend the National Youth Championships in Australia. The dates are Sunday 9th September to Monday 17th September.  We will be taking two teams on this tour. 

The Under 16 Mixed teams will do a tour in the Gold Coast. The dates are Monday 17th September to Tuesday 25th September. We will be taking two teams on this tour.

The aim of the tours are to give like-minded and skilled players with potential to pathway into the elite touch environment an opportunity to experience a different style of game in another country. They will work with our experienced High Performance New Zealand coaches and mentors as well as identified provincial coaches also following the pathways programme.

2018 Under 16 TID Camp

Congratulations to the following Under 16 players that have been identified to attend the Touch New Zealand Junior Pathways TID Training Camp to be held in Auckland from the 4th – 7th October. This camp provides a unique coaching environment for up and coming players and coaches with the potential to reach the Youth & Opens team framework.  The camp takes place in the October school holidays.  The aim of the camp is to bring likeminded and skilled players with potential to pathway into the elite touch environment via workshops, fitness testing and group coaching sessions.

Under 18 Trialists for Youth World Cup

These players have been selected to attend the 2018 Youth World Cup trials for the Under 18 NZ teams to play in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in August 2018.

The Youth World Cup will be over a week from the Saturday 4th August to Sunday the 12th August, with playing days being the 8th -11th August. 

All of the below players will receive an invitation to the trial weekend which they must reply to by Monday 26th February to secure their spot.
