After the unfortunate cancellation of the Trans-Tasman Series due to Covid-19, the Homegrown Touch Series was introduced to provide value for our players, coaches and managers in preparation for the 2023 Touch World Cup.

The event will feature 2 Men's and 2 Women's teams who will go head to head in a best-of-three match series in Auckland.

Match 1: Friday 23rd April 2021

Match 2: Saturday 24th April 2021

Match 3: Sunday 25th April 2021

We are proud to present our four team names for the Homegrown Touch Series.

  • Te Hau Raki - Northern Wind
  • Te Hau Tonga - Southern Wind
  • Te Hau Rawhiti - Eastern Wind
  • Te Hau ā uru - Western Wind

The idea behind the theme of these names is that each of the four winds of Aotearoa come together, united as one. As we have players from right throughout the motu, as we come together for the Homegrown Series – we are uniting, as one.
