Excitement filled the air when the official announcement came out that NZ was moving into Covid-19 alert level 2. One because we once again get to reconnect with friends & whanau and two because we’re getting closer to being able to play the sport that we all know and love, Turbo Touch! 

Although Covid-19 has resulted in an unanticipated delay to the commencement of the 2020 season, Turbo Touchies around NZ are patiently waiting to once again grace the courts with the fitness and finesse that only one who plays Turbo Touch possess. During the level 2 “Get Ready phase” our module owners are working away to ensure that they are compliant with Sport New Zealands guidelines and rulings. While also making sure that your health and safety is at the forefront of their thinking. We’re confident that we have all bases covered and believe that level 2 actually fits perfectly with the 2’s of Turbo Touch (2-metres, 2-touches, 2-seconds, & 2-passes) so fingers crossed we get the all clear.

So what do we need you to do, you ask?

Get a team together and register today. If lockdown taught us anything it’s not to take things for granted! If you haven’t given Turbo Touch a go yet it’s a definite must. Turbo is a fun and social game that can be picked up and played by anyone, regardless of fitness & speed. Get tactical, time it right and the fun is all yours to enjoy.
